EMPLOYERS
In today's society, differences in skills, perspective, cultures and experiences are becoming more and more vast. Employers are required to take the lead in making changes to remove systemic barriers and create equitable environments. It’s about shifting from from old practices to new ones; embedding inclusion into hiring, policies, and everyday culture. This includes learning about neurodiversity and disability, and building neuroinclusion into the full employee journey: from hiring to training to retention. A focus on inclusive systems that improve experiences not only for neurodivergent employees, but for everyone in the workplace can make the entire process more successful for everyone.
If you're ready to dive in and receive direct support that guides you in working towards understanding unique ways of thinking, sensing, and interacting, then my accompaniment services are for you.
You have several options for how I accompany you.
Accompaniment packages
My accompaniment services are based on a coaching model. They always begin with working directly with you to understand the priorities and the needs of both the workplace and the individual employee.
Together, we reflect on the strengths and challenges of the indivdual employee, the workplace goals, the management approach, the success and the challenges in adaptations and inclusion, while working towards finding creative solutions that are realistic and applicable in meeting the combined needs of individuals and teams within the available material and human resources.
If you would like to discuss your situation and learn more about my approach and my process,
you have access to a free thirty minute consultation during which you can ask all your questions.
Consultations and Coaching
Consultations and coaching provide an opportunity for employers, management, supervisors and co-workers to discuss specific situations that they are experiencing, with the goal of brainstorming out of the box ideas to address it, make changes, modify interventions, and improve the situation.
Topics can include effectively meeting individual employee needs, meeting staff needs as a group, using the staff as effectively as possible, clarifying roles of staff, rethinking schedules, making environmental modifications, dealing with inappropriate or awkward behaviour, lack of progress/change, teaching specific skills etc.
