CAREGIVING SUPPORT PLANS

With my support, things can become more manageable.

As a parent, and a daughter and caregiver, I have experienced the overwhelm and frustration that can accompany being the supporter.

And as a professional, I have had to navigate the complexity of various systems and experiment with finding strategies in less than ideal situations.

Drawing from these experiences, I offer insight, information, and practical ideas designed to strengthen existing supports, better meet the unique needs of the person in your care, and address specific challenges.

Not sure if a caregiving support plan could help you?

Through observations, conversations and time spent with you andthe person you are caring for, I create a detailed report with realistic and applicable strategies adapted to the reality of your unique relational structure.

There are any number of topics that could be included in a plan, but here are a few examples that often come up with the people that I work with:

  • the person's unique learning and development, and their related needs

  • effective strategies to address everyday challenges

  • realistic, step-by-step approaches to address intense situations, including difficult and/or aggressive behavior

  • integrating professional recommendations, such as Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy strategies, into your daily routine

  • information about autism, neurodiversity, Alzheimer's, disability, or other diagnoses, and how they may or may not apply to your situation or environment.
