Community Collaborations

The training series are offered in collaboration for both the staff of community organizations, schools, daycares, residences, group homes along with clinicians and professionals, as well as to the community that they each service.

There are four series tailored to specfic needs that each contain pertinent information, theories, ideas and recommendations, with the goal of truly meeting the needs and improving the lives of the supporter as well as the person receiving support.

They are designed to encourage participants within their individual roles and in their individual environments, to reflect on how they are providing care, support and/or services, and to provide and discuss solutions that are realistically and effectively applicable in each participant's daily reality.

Autism
Training series

The autism training series is for staff and communities who are directing working with or supporting autistic individuals on a regular basis.

It is comprised of five or six workshops (based on indiviual need) designed to equip supporters with information and tools that increase their confidence and efficacy in meeting the needs of the person in their care.

human NEEDS
training series

The human needs training series is for staff and communities who are looking for applicable recommendations in best practices for supporting the neurodiversity of all individuals.

It is comprised of four or five workshops (based on individual need) designed to equip supporters with information and tools that increase their confidence and efficacy in meeting tneeds.

alzheimer
training series

The Alzheimer training series is for staff and communities who are directing working with or supporting individuals who have Alzheimer's on a regular basis.

It is comprised of five or six workshops (based on individual need) designed to equip supporters with information and tools that increase their confidence and efficacy in meeting the needs of the person in their care.

FOR SUPPORTERS
OF Non SPEAKING
INDIVIDUALS

This training series is for staff and communities who are working directly with individuals who are non-speaking.​

It consists of a series of five or six workshops (based on inidividual need) that equip supporters to approach the person in their care with confidence, awareness and respect around their unique communication style.
