PERSONAL COACHING FOR ADULTS
I can’t tell you exactly what working with me is like;
the best way to know is to experience it yourself.
Personal coaching consultations provide a space to slow things down
and talk through what’s been weighing on your mind and your heart —
without pressure, expectations, or the need to have everything figured out.
Working with me is a collaborative, reflective process.
Together, we explore what your day to day experience is like, where you are meeting challenges,
what patterns you revert to, and possible ways to make changes for yourself.
There is no pressure to perform or arrive with answers;
just thoughtful conversation grounded in respect, curiosity, and practical insight.
How can my support help you?
My goal is to offer you guidance that helps you to identify, understand and address your own needs.
Once you feel more clear about where you are at and what you need, we will explore ideas that you feel comfortable trying out, that aim to support you in creating the everyday reality that you desire.
Not sure what we coud talk about?
During our conversation, you take the lead in what you want to talk about. We explore what is happening for you, clarify information and contributing factors, and begin to make sense of where you are right now. The goal is to help you feel more clear about your experience and more confident in taking charge of your life.
Here are a few examples of topics that often come up with the people I work with:
-
something that you find hard in your day to day routine
-
feeling like you are different than everyone else
-
uncertainty about how to interact with others in a social or professional setting
-
confusion about your personal strengths and what you need
-
being frustrated about whatever circumstances you're facing
-
uncertainty about autism, ADHD, neurodiversity, disability, or other diagnoses, and how they may or may not apply to your situation
-
getting outside of your comfort zone
-
how to manage intense emotions, frustration, or sensory overwhelm
-
confusion about applying professional recommendations, such as Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy strategies, into your reality when applicable
-
uncertainty about how to work with other people as you navigate the different public and private support systems that provide resources.
