CO-CREATED SUPPORT PLANS
With my support, things can become a bit more clear.
As a professional, I have experienced the complexity and the overwhelm
that is so often present in different environments.
And as a parent, and a daughter and caregiver, I have experienced the frustration
that comes with watching from the outside.
Drawing from these experiences, I collaborate with the direct service individual or team by offering insight, information, and practical ideas designed to strengthen existing supports, better meet your child’s unique needs, and address specific challenges.
Not sure if this could help you?
Through observations of your child and conversations with the direct service individual or team, I create a detailed report with realistic and applicable strategies adapted to the reality of the environment.
There are any number of topics that could be included in a plan, but here are a few examples that often come up with the teams that I work with:
-
your child's unique learning and development, and their related needs
-
everyday challenges, and effective strategies
-
realistic, step-by-step approaches to address various situations, including difficult and/or aggressive behavior
-
integrating professional recommendations, such as Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy strategies, into all of your child's environments
-
information about autism, neurodiversity, disability, or other diagnoses, and how they may or may not apply to the situation or environment.
Do you still have questions, or you are ready to get support?
